We originally became interested in gardens through plants. We started with a
specialist nursery in Wiltshire where we grew perennials that we liked . Being
able to know how to grow a plant, what it likes to grow in and with, are the
reasons we make gardens.
There are certain perennials that really earn their keep. They
will grow in sun or shade , most soils , get to 2m high yet need no staking,
have spectacular leaves in lovely tones , flowers for six weeks and look good in
the autumn.
A mixture of time and knowledge make a garden
